James P. Greene

James P. Greene

James P. Greene graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, JD/LLM (Tax) in 1995. He operates a full-service law practice in downtown Chicago, Illinois where he concentrates on asset protection, tax, elder law and estate and business planning. In addition to his practice in Chicago, he frequently works with clients in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As a faculty member at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Greene has taught courses on both international and corporate tax. In addition to his formal teaching duties, he frequently speaks in the community on topics of Asset Protection, Estate Planning and Taxation.

Mr. Greene is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals. Additionally, he has served on both the Tax and Asset Protection Committees of the Chicago Bar Association.

Mr. Greene is the founder and current president of the Illinois Tax Training Institute (ITTI): a corporation dedicated to providing high quality training and education, paving the way to financial independence by teaching members of the community at large, to become professionals in tax preparation for individuals and businesses. The institute promotes tax compliance and integrity in the profession and gears its course materials to reflect the significant role of ethics in the practice.


Michael T. Fakaros

Michael Fakaros is licensed to practice law in Michigan (2001) and Illinois (2003). Michael concentrates his practice in the areas of (1) probate administration and litigation for decedent's, disabled persons and minors, (2) residential and commercial real estate transactions and litigation, and (3) business transactions and litigation. Coming from a family that has predominantly owned and operated several different businesses over three generations, since immigrating to the United States in the early 1900's, Michael is keenly aware of the daily personal and business challenges that confront small and medium sized family owned businesses.


Laura L. Burke

Burke serves as an enrolled agent. She utilizes her tax skills and past success in IRS audits, negotiations, offers in compromise, representing taxpayers before the IRS and a multitude of other tax related issues. She is experienced with LLC Series, LLC, Partnerships, and Corporations.

Burke is also a site manager for a non for profit institution that assists and prepares tax returns to over 4400 low to moderate income tax clients. She has authored three books, and many articles for industry journals/newspapers.


Malgorzata M. Stypa

Malgorzata Stypa is an enrolled agent with extensive accounting background. She is knowledgeable in preparing settlement agreements, closing documents, financial reports and payroll tax matters. She has more than 5 years of experience in real estate and small business transactions. She is currently practicing income tax preparation for entities including individuals, estates, corporations, partnerships, and sole-proprietors. Stypa, EA is also fluent in Polish language.


Marshall R. Mathews

Marshall Mathews has 30 years of experience as a paralegal in the Chicagoland area. He has spent 25 of his 30 years in the area taxation related to partnerships, Trust, and individuals. Marshall completed the program for Enrolled Agents at the Illinois Tax Training Institute. He is also graduate of American Institute for Paralegal Studies and of Moody Bible Institute. Prior to that attended DePaul University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
